Dr. Shahzeidi is graduate from University of Exeter in UK and holder of Diploma of Thoracic Medicine from university of London. Dr. Shahzeidi has his post doctoral education and fellowship training at the George Washington university affiliated hospitals. Dr. Shahzeidi is the winner of the Walden Nickens award and also Scientific achievement award from CNMC and George Washington University. Dr. Shahzeidi is Board Certified in Pediatric medicine, Pediatric Pulmonary, and Adult and Pediatric Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Shahzeidi is currently the medical director and director of sleep program at the Gran Health Institute (GHI) and has been serving as a committee member in American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) since 2007. Dr Shahzeidi is also active member of speaker bureau in different academic institutions.

Dr Shahzeidi is a fellow member of AASM, AAP and ACCP and had numbers of publications in peer review Journals and academic institutions.

Dr. Shahzeidi’s interest is primarily in Pediatric Sleep disorders such as Insomnia in traumatic brain injuries of children, Parasomnia (Sleep walk, Sleep talk, nocturnal enuresis, head banging and bed rocking as well as bruxism ) which is a common phenomenon in patients with Autism, ADHD and Narcolepsy/ Cataplexy and behavior disorders. Also circadian rhythm disorders.
